Electoral Services Manager

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and enthusiastic individual to join the Electoral Services team at Waverley Borough Council. You will need management experience of registration and successfully planning and delivering elections and be able to engage effectively with a diverse range of customers and stakeholders.
We are looking for someone with a positive and adaptable approach who is innovative and has a meticulous attention to detail but is also able to work to deliver results under pressure. In this role you will work in conjunction with the Returning Officer to plan, manage and conduct Parish, District, County Council, Parliamentary elections and Referenda and will lead the delivery of initiatives which encourage the engagement of local people in the democratic process.
The successful candidate will manage the Electoral Services team, ensuring the delivery of high quality and professional electoral services for the Council. Substantial knowledge of the law and practice relating to Electoral Registration and Elections is key to this role.
This post is a full time permanent role, 37 hours per week. However, all applications will be considered.
