Executive Head of Housing
Guildford Borough Council and Waverley Borough Council are working in collaboration to provide better sustainable local services. At the heart of this is the ambition to ensure that we continue to improve, be fiscally efficient and contribute to the net carbon strategy we have set. The local government sector is experiencing a difficult fiscal landscap; our partnership will assist by providing efficiency and collaboration opportunities. We are now seeking an exceptional individual to complete our Joint Management Team at Executive Head level.
We are committed to providing good quality housing for all income levels and age groups. Both councils are proud to be stock owning and committed to investing in these homes and are driven to ensure that we make a positive difference.
This ambitious partnership is seeking an Executive Head of Housing to provide leadership for the authorities' housing services. The role is across both authorities covering some 10,000 homes. The successful applicant will have a track record of delivery and strong strategic focus to guide our talented and committed teams to make a tangible difference to the lives of our residents.
If you believe in better public services, are ambitious and will face the challenges the sector has with enthusiasm, we want to hear from you.
