Vacancy Description

 

We are looking for a well organised individual that can demonstrate evidence of self development or training in administration. The post holder will also need experience and knowledge with Microsoft applications such as Word and Excel.

The successful applicant will be providing technical and administrative support to the Emergency Planning and Resilience Officer and Head of Service to coordinate, monitor, develop and review the Corporate Health and Safety, Emergency Planning and Business Continuity plans, policies and procedures.

The post holder will assist on Health and Safety and Business Continuity matters, including the development and implementation of policies and systems to ensure that the Council is complying with its Health and Safety responsibilities and is fully prepared for its role in the event of an emergency.
