Do your skills currently include experience in working on transport projects and good project management?

An opportunity has arisen with the Environmental Services Team for an experienced confident and driven Sustainable Transport Projects Officer to work within the Sustainability Team on projects to deliver the Council’s response to the Climate Emergency. The candidate will work with the Sustainability Manager, Portfolio Holder for Environment and Sustainability and the Head of Environmental and Regulatory Services to deliver sustainable and active transport projects. The candidate will also work with officers across the authority to refine and further develop the Carbon Neutrality Action Plan aiming to make Waverley a carbon neutral council.

We are looking for an individual with strong communication skills and the ability to deal with the demands of this exciting and challenging role. It is essential you have extensive knowledge and experience of sustainable transport options and carbon reductions to help deliver this challenging agenda.

This is a one year fixed term contract.
